Hey everyone, it's been a while, but I figured some of you guys would like to know about my latest project.  I just released the first of my barrel aged beer series.  This one was released this past Saturday at our 1st anniversary party.  It is a strong ale, brewed in an open fermentation tank. Then transferred into Evan Williams bourbon barrels, where it matured for about six months.  Along with the wonderful the caramel, chocolate, and port wine flavors from the strong ale, it developed a funky, sour note on the back end from the barrels. The abv is right at 11% and can be cellared for a while. It is available for a limited time in 750 mL bottles, just at the brewpub here in downtown Raleigh.  Come by and pick yours up and ask for me at the bar, and please give me some feedback.  There will be more to follow later in the year.  Thanks for your support and cheers, Mike
