Announce new beers here
Jonathan Surratt:
Announce a beer that you haven't seen in this thread. Or announce a beer that has recently been approved by the ABC committee.
General announcements/discussion.
Jonathan Surratt:
The two big announcements that I've read today are the fact that both Brooklyn East India Pale ale, and Flying Dog's Gonzo Imperial Porter have both been spotted in NC beer stores.
Sam's in Durham has Brooklyn EIPA and Gonzo has been spotted in Raleigh.
Kilgore_Trout:
I had commented on Stone Brewing in another thread. I emailed them to let them know the cap was popped, and here is there response (should not be a surprise to anyone):
--- Quote ---James, thanks for the email and the kind words about our beers. We never get tired of hearing from the people out there that are passionate enough about our beers that they take the time to write and tell us how they feel.
Wow, you¹re not wasting any time, huh? Last I heard the governor just approved the bill! With that being said it is going to be a while. We are moving into our new brewery later this year (October) and once there we will be able to brew A LOT more beer. However, we will not be venturing into any new areas until 2006. So be patient, make a few roadtrips, and think how nice it'll be when you can drive down to the local store and grab some Stone!
We really appreciate the support and keep on spreading the words of Stone and the Arrogance!
Cheers,
Chris Cochran
