Newer Hop Varietals
hornydevil:
Anyone used any that they really liked?
Just bought a lb. each of Calypso and Legacy. Any input on those?
How about Apollo or Comet?
MashedAvenger:
Hopsdirect? I picked up a lb each of Calypso, Comet, and Legacy recently. Brewed the first of a series of single-hop APAs last Saturday using the Calypso. Smelled good, but that's about all I've got at this point. Picked up a lb of Serebrianka, too, although I guess that's not really new. New to me!
Kolschboy:
MA, I honked as I drove by on Saturday as I saw you outside brewing said beer.

Anxious to hear how it comes out.

Curious about that hop as well.
Kolschboy:
Cascade is a modern hybrid of Russian Serebrianka and Fuggles, ya know.
