Raleigh, Durham or Chapel Hill, or all three?

Time?  There's also a CD release party event at TBC that evening, if I'm not mistaken.

I just called and got a reservation. Terry said that the event may be canceled if there is not more interest. So, get your reservations in today.

Ya know, this is the problem with many of these dinners. The word barely gets out before it is time for the dinner. These things must have been planned in advance yet if Hammer hadn't put it out there, most of us would not know and with only 8 days notice it is often not possible to rearrange the schedule to attend.

Maybe those Know Your Brewer guys will start bird doggin' these things and give us a heads up... HINT HINT  Cheesy

Yup. I first saw the banner and table notices late last week, though I'd heard rumors of it for a while.

I usually post these things for Greensboro as soon as I find out about them. I'm on the email list for Brixx and Vintage 301. They seem to let me know about a week in advance. I suggested that they contact me sooner when they plan a dinner and I'd post it on beerinator. So far, no good. I'm not really gonna push it, I'm  just trying to help them out.

I'll be stewarding at the CARBOY Shamrock Open all day Saturday, and will probably be drinking beer all day.  It's unlikely I'll want to even look at beer that evening, unfortunately.  Sounds like a wonderful event.

Well, they called yesterday afternoon to say that the dinner had been postponed. I will try to post when I hear the new date.

I spoke to Amy from Whole Foods this morning.

The beer dinner has been rescheduled for Friday May 8th.

Local food and local beer was the theme. Cost is still $30.

I will try to get some further information on the menu and beers and whether Julie will be there as scheduled previously.
